The painting offered here goes back to a composition by Abraham Mignon, which was in the Gemäldegalerie in Dresden until the Second World War (inv.-no. Gal.-Nr. 2021, see Magdalena Kremer-Noble: Abraham Mignon 1640-1679, Petersberg 2007, no. 16, pp. 76-77), where the painting was destroyed.
