For more than 40 years, Asian Art has been a specialty of Koller Auctions, thanks to the expertise and infallible eye of Antoinette Koller, founder Pierre Koller's sister. In 2004, East Asia specialist Regi Preiswerk took over the department at Koller. Collectors will find Asian antiquities dating from the stone age until the early 20th century. Our expert evaluates and appraises sculpture, paintings and arts and crafts, including porcelain from India to Japan.
Although art from Tibet and Nepal is traditionally the department’s main focus, works of art from China have recently gained in importance. At our Asian art auctions, prices range from three-figure to six-figure sums and facilitate encounters between beginners, established collectors and museum curators from around the world.
