A private collection of Art Nouveau and Art Deco glass, part one of which was featured in Koller Geneva's May auction, was a complete success in Koller Geneva's November sale, with works by Gallé, Tiffany, Schneider and Daum often selling for above their upper estimates. The highlight of the auction was a bronze and pâte-de-verre “Chardon” (thistle) table lamp by Maurice Bouval from circa 1900 (lot 114). This was an atypical work for Bouval which has since become his signature piece, and it more than doubled its high estimate at CHF 63 440 / EUR 43 140*.
