Louis XIV, Paris ca. 1720. The dial and the movement, signed Rabby à Paris (François Rabby, maître from 1717 onwards).
Rectangular wooden case, glazed on three sides, inlaid with red tortoise shell. Opulent bronze mounts. Bronze dial with blue enamel cartouches. Movement with verge escapement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell. 1 key.
