A PAIR OF TRUMPET-SHAPED CANDLESTICKS, FROM DIFFERENT SETS
Lausanne; 18th century. Maker's mark Papus & Dautun, and Berne, 18th century. Maker's mark Johann Jakob Dulliker.
The two candlesticks with curved foot, twisted tongues and flat baluster node. The Bernese candlestick is minimally taller and the diameter of its foot slightly smaller.
H 23.5 cm. Total weight 625 g.
Condition:
Wear consistent with age and use. The rim of the foot of the Bern candle stick is slightly dented.
