BRACKET CLOCK WITH DATE ON ASSOCIATED BASE,
Louis XIV, Holland, 17th century. The dial signed IAN DE VOYS AMSTERDAM.
Rectangular wooden case, lacquered black. Brass fronton with silver-plated chapter ring, applied with Allegories of the Four Seasons. Movement with lever escapement, striking the 1/2-hour on 2 bells. Movement modified, requires servicing. Carved base, gilt. Key for the door, missing.
Clock: 32x20x58 cm. Base: H 30 cm.
