This painting represents a study for a large composition in the Museo Civico Lugano.
Oil on canvas, original canvas. Paint surface well-preserved, partly with fine craquelures. Dotted colour break-ups. Slight colour abrasion along the edges.
Under UV: a few small touch-ups in the background and on the figure. Varnish appears in fluorescent green.
