GEMSET GOLD FIBULAE, Marocco, Fez, late 18th century.
Khallalat. Drop-shaped fibulae, set at the centre with a gemstone cabochon, surrounded by filigree work, bordered by a ribbed solid gold frame enhanced with small stones, attached to large pin and gemset circular gold band with studded terminals, one stone missing. Ca. 6,5 cm Ø.
