GEMSET AND GOLD PENDANT, Morocco, Fez, probably 1782.
Khamsa. The hand of fatima pendant worked with bevelled scrolling gold wire around inset stones and applied pearls, with a sapphire-set border, the reverse plain, suspended on multiple strands of seed-pearls, joined by emeralds, fluted gold beads and other smaller stones. Pendant L ca. 9,4 cm. L ca. 67 cm.
