PAINTED PENDULE
Louis XV, Paris, 2nd half of the 18th century. The dial and movement signed: Jacques Panier à Paris. Probably Jacques-Charles Panier, maître 1743.
Case, painted with flowers in green Vernis Martin. Opulent gilt bronze mounts. Bronze dial with white enamel cartouches. Movement, converted to anchor escapement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell. 1 key.
