LARGE BOULLE PENDULE ON PLINTH

Régence/Louis XV, France, Paris, ca. 1730/40. The dial signed Bunon à Paris (probably Antoine Robert Bunon).
Curved case, decorated with brown tortoiseshell and inlaid with engraved brass flowers and tendrils. Gilt bronze mounts. Dial with enamel cartouches, indicating the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes in Arabic numerals. Movement with verge escapement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell. 1 key.
50 x 25 x 111 cm.
