This extraordinary timepiece was developed by Dr. Ludwig Oechslin and realized by Ulysse Nardin. "Freak" is the appropriate name, since everything - from the movement to the case - has been redesigned in a radical manner: the dual-direct escapement, the winding via the caseback and the hand positioning via the bezel.
