Late Louis XV, France, 19th century. The movement, signed E. Caux Paris and numbered 45272.
Bronze, chiseled and gilt. Cartouche-shaped, curved case, decorated with flowers and scrolled leaves. Enameled dial featuring the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes in Arabic numerals. Parisian movement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell. Finely chiseled, pierced hands. 2 keys.
