DAVOS ALARM CLOCK WITH WOODEN GEARS

In the style of the 18th century. Copy, 20th century. The dial dated 1762.
Rectangular, enclosed wooden case. The upper part of the dial, pierced and applied with glued-on, painted paper. One dial for the hours and one for the quarter-hours. Slider for the alarm. Movement with wooden gear train, verge escapement and balance wheel. Striking mechanism on bell.
