CARRIAGE CLOCK WITH DATE, DAY AND MOON PHASE

20th century. Manufactured by: L'Epé, Modell La Vallée No 62.
Gilt brass. Rectangular case, glazed on all sides. White enamel dial featuring the hours in Roman numerals, an opening for the moon phase, and three additional dials for the day, date and alarm. Movement, striking the 1/2-hour on gong. Alarm on gong. Rear plate, inscribed: 11 Jules unadjusted Swiss made. Movement Matthew Norman Switzerland 1781. Red, leather-lined case, carrying strap, torn. 1 key.
