A PAIR OF CANDELABRA
Munich, 1828. Maker's mark Louis Wollenweber.
Four-light candelabra. Round foot decorated with a circumferential band of laurel leaves. Cylindrical section with applied figures. Smooth, pillar-shaped shaft, relief-decorated with acanthus leaves. Removable upper part decorated with scrolls, the center with a sculpted figure wearing a garment from Antiquity and holding a nozzle over her head.
H 63 cm; 3,240 g.

- According to records, received in 1939 as a gift from the German high nobility and since then in the possession of the owner's family.
