ANTEFIX DESIGNED AS THE HEAD OF A WOMAN
Etruscan, probably Sicily, late 6th century B.C.
Polychrome-painted terracotta, with remnants of black paintwork. Female head with archaic smile and curly, wavy hair. On a later stone plinth.
H without plinth 15.5 cm.
Minor chips.
