RARE LARGE ANTEFIX DESIGNED AS A FEMALE HALF FIGURE

Etruscan, ca. 6th century B.C.
Terracotta, polychrome painted. Half figure, probably of a goddess, with opulent headdress. The left hand angled, the right incomplete arm raised. Red undergarment. On a later granite plinth.
H without plinth 51 cm.

Assembled from several parts. Cracks and losses. Retouches.
