ANTEFIX AS A WOMAN'S HEAD
Etruscan, late 4th - early 3rd century B.C.
Terracotta with remains of paintwork. Depiction of a noble woman with her hair parted in the middle. Tiara with discs, and wrapped with a veil. On a later plinth.
H without plinth 19 cm.
Various chips. Repair to the nose. Retouches.
