VITRINE

Transition style, Paris, ca. 1900. In the style of Sormani or E. A. Barrié.
Mahogany and gilt bronze. Trapezoidal body with glazed sides, on a cut-out frame and curved legs with sabots. Oval glazed, single-door front between rounded corner studs. Finely chased gilt bronze decoration in the form of bows, flower garlands, musical trophies and hunting trophies, acanthus leaves, fillets and pearl friezes. Grey/white veined breccia marble top with shaped edge. Mirrored back wall, one glass shelf and 1 key.
90 × 44.5 × 131 cm.

In good restored condition. Bronzes a little tarnished. Scratches to the leaf.
