A PAIR OF CANDELABRA

Restauration, France, ca. 1820/30.
Gilt bronze. Fluted central shaft, the top designed as an antique oil lamp, with three curved fluted light branches and a central torch. Flower-shaped drip pans with a vase-shaped nozzle. On a matching tripod with cloven feet. Decorated with acanthus leaves and ram's heads. On a stepped three-part base.
Ø 56.5 cm, H 56.5 cm.

Gilding tarnished, and some losses to the patination. One candelabra slightly crooked, three finials of different types.
