Watercolour over pencil, 32.7 x 49 cm. The framing lines in black pen and grey brush. Titled in black pen in the lower margin. Gold frame.
Probably the original for Christian von Mechel's engraving "Vue de la ville de Vevay au bord du lac Léman", which differs in few details from this. Restored tear in the upper left margin outside the image. Overall, in an attractive, virtually pristine condition.
