(circa 1635 Amsterdam before 1672) An old woman. Oil on canvas. 89.5 x 72.5 cm. Provenance:–G. Cramer Oude Kunst, The Hague until November 1964.–Acquired at the above. German private collection.–Via inheritance to the current owner. Swiss private collection. Expertise:–Dr. Gert Adriani, former director of the Herzog Anton Ulrich-Museum, Braunschweig, 4.2.1965, as by Ferdinand Bol (1616-1680).–Dr. Eduard Plietzsch, 8.9.1956 as by Abraham van Dyck. Prof. Werner Sumowski has confirmed in a letter dated 11.5.2012 that the work is by Abraham van Dyck.

Prof. Werner Sumowski bestätigt in einem Schreiben vom 11.5.2012 die Autorschaft Abraham van Dycks, wofür wir ihm danken.
