DIAMOND AND PEARL BROOCH, ca. 1910. Platinum. Very fancy diamond-set, open-worked, two-part Belle Epoque brooch of 1 trapezoid element with a laurel wreath motif set with 2 flexibly mounted old European cut diamonds weighing ca. 1.70 ct in total, and 5 pendants designed as a stylized tassel and flower. Mounted with 2 natural pearls of ca. 5.2 mm Ø and with 4 diamonds to a hexagonal element with a central flower motif. Total weight of the ca. 350 old European cut diamonds und rose-cut diamonds ca. 4.00 ct. Removable mechanical part in yellow gold, probably also originally used as a necklace centre part.
