Die dargetsellte Brücke "Ponte Rotto" in Rom wurde im Auftrag von Gregor XIII. 1575 errichtet und 1598 teilweise durch Hochwasser zerstört. Der Betrachter blickt vom linken Flussufer ungefähr auf Höhe des Gartens des Klosters Santa Maria in Cosmedin auf die Brücke. Ralph Toledano bestätigt die Eigenhändigkeit anhand einer Fotografie, wofür wir ihm danken.
