According to historical sources, a portrait of the Tsar's mother Maria Feodorovna (Princess Dagmar of Denmark, 1847–1928) with her son, the later Tsar Nicholas II of Russia. Watercolour on ivory. Signed and dated lower right: Sonja Routchine 1909. 20 x 15.1 (oval) cm.
