A so-called a "table à système", Louis XV, stamped J.F. OEBEN (Jean-Francois Oeben, maître 1761), Paris, ca. 1760.
Satinwood and amaranth in veneer with fine inlays. Sliding top. The front with a broad drawer with 1 writing compartment and a leather-lined, hinged surface between 2 covered compartments. Gilt bronze mounts and sabots. The veneer heavily supplemented. 98x48x72.5 cm.
