PLATE WITH A COAT–OF–ARMS FROM THE 'FERRERO' SERVICE,

Meissen, ca. 1740.
Wavy rim 'Neuer Ausschnitt', gilt. Painted with woodcut flowers, ombré insects, and with the coat–of–arms of the Piedmont Ferrero family on the rim. Underglaze blue sword mark. D 23.5 cm. Enamelled colours slightly rubbed.
