Louis XV, by M. FUNK (Mathäus Funk, 1697 Berne 1783) and his workshop, Berne ca. 1760/80.
Walnut and burlwood, in veneer and inlaid with reserves. Curved body with tall, curved legs, front with 2 sans– traverse drawers. Gilt bronze mounts and sabots. The interior lined with original "Herrenhuter" pasted pater. Shaped "Merlingen" top. 92x53x87 cm.
