COMMODE "A FLEURS",

Louis XV, P. MIGEON (attributed to Pierre II and IV Migeon, maître 1739), Paris, ca. 1750.
Purpleheart, amaranth and "bois de violette", in veneer and inlaid with "bois de bout"; flowers, leaves and decorative frieze. Front with 2 sans–traverse drawers. Exquisite matte and polished gilt bronze mounts and sabots. Old Inventory No. 656 in red ink. Shaped "Brèche d'Alep" top. Some alterations to the veneer. Marble top with crack. 146x62x89 cm.
