A MAGNIFICENT SILVER VASE AND COVER. Thailand, 2nd half 19th c. Height 59 cm, weight 4990 g. Chinese hallmark at the foot.

Balusterförmig auf getrepptem, eingezogenem Fuss. Der getriebene Dekor auf punziertem Grund besteht aus umlaufenden Kartuschen mit den Zodiak-Tieren, ergänzt durch einen Lotosdekor, der die gesamte Vase überzieht. Getreppter Deckel mit Lotosknauf. Chinesische Punze im Fuss.
