SMALL TOWER CLOCK WITH ALARM,

Renaissance, probably Augsburg, ca. 1600.
Bronze, copper and brass, gilt and finely engraved. Front with silver-plated chapter ring. Alarm disc with old Gothic numerals from 1 to 12. Verso with "champlevé" enamel and silver-plated adjustment disc for the striking mechanism from 1 to 12. Finely engraved, gilt movement with gut string and wheel balance, striking mechanism on bell, and alarm.
12.5x12.5x27 cm.
