A RARE BRONZE FIGURE OF THE STANDING BUDDHA WITH AUREOLE. Gandhara, 6th c. H 27 cm. Inlaid eyes. Repatinated in the 19th or 20th c.
A CIRAM material analysis confirms the dating of the Buddha and also dates the renewed patina. Provenance: Australian private collection since 2000.
