STAINED GLASS "SCHWYZ",

monogrammed IM (Josias Murer, 15.0-1580) and dated 1608, Zurich.
The center depicting the coat-of-arms of Schwyz, on top the Imperial Eagle under a crown (both are later supplements). The bottom inscribed: DAS LAND SCHWYTZ 1608. Some cracks in the glass and lead.
40.5x30.5 cm.

Provenance:
- from a private collection, Schaffhausen.

This stained glass was part of a series of 13 pieces by Josias Murer in 1608.
