PAIR OF SILVER–GILT TUREENS WITH COVER, IN A WOODEN BOX,

Paris, 1st half of the 19th century. Maker's mark Marc–Augustin Lebrun.
Présentoir, tureen, insert and cover. Curved tureen with two handles. Shaped rim with sculpted leaf decoration. Cover crowned by a floral finial. All pieces engraved with a monogram. In a wooden box (53 x 31 x 41 cm) with a red lining. H of the tureens ca. 17 cm, total weight 5550 g.
