SUITE OF 8 TAPESTRY FAUTEUILS "A LA REINE",

Louis XV, the later frames after models by J.B. TILLIARD (Jean-Baptiste II Tilliard, maître 1752), the covers by the Manufacture de Beauvais, Paris 18th/19th century.
Beech, molded and exquisitely carved with cartouches, flowers, leaves and decorative frieze, and gilt. Well-preserved tapestry cover depicting scenes from the fables of de La Fontaine. Gilding, in part chipped.
63x55x45x101 cm.
