Heavy, engine-turned case No. 02962 with case maker's mark AS and JMC and hallmark for London 1861. Fine, ivory-color enameled dial signed: Ja.s Mc. Cabe Royal Exchange London 02962. Gold lily hands, blued second hand. Exceptionally well-maintained high-grade movement with duplex escapement and gilt 3/4 plate, signed and numbered 02962. Key-wound movement with fusee and chain. Compensation balance with diamond capstone. D 50 mm.
