ENAMEL SNUFF-BOX FOR THE TURKISH MARKET, probably Geneva, ca. 1820.

Pink gold, 91g.
Scalloped oval box, the cover polychrome enamelled with musical trophy on a yellow ground, the base with a flower bouquet, border with champlevé enamelled flowers on blue ground. The 12 side panels alternating enamelled bouquets on yellow ground and champlevé enamelled flowers on blue ground. Minimal trace of use. Ca. 7,9 x 5,5 x 1,3 cm.
