A GOLD LACQUERED WOODEN FIGURE OF THE GREEN TARA.

Tibeto-chinese, Kangxi period, height 22 cm.
Holz mit Lackvergoldung. Die Göttin sitzt in lalitasana auf einem doppelten Lotosthron, die Linke in abhayamudra erhoben, die Linke in varadamudra aufs Knie gestützt. Eine fünfblättrige Krone und reicher, aufmodellierter Schmuck zieren die Schutzgöttin.
