Baroque, from the series of the "Métamorphes", after drawings by P. Ijkens (Peter Ijkens, 1648-1698) for the figures and P. SPIERINCK (Peter Spierinck, 1635-1711) for the landscape, Brussels or Antwerp, ca. 1680/1720.
Depiction of Venus and Adonis in an idealized wooded landscape. Fine border.

- Formerly in the collection of the Palazzo Centurione, Piazza Fossatello, Genoa.
- From a very important Genoese private collection.
