PAIR OF IMPORTANT CANDELABRA "AUX VESTALES" WITH PEDESTALS,

Louis XVI, probably after designs by J.J. FOUCOU (Jean-Joseph Foucou, Riez 1739-1815 Paris), the bronze parts from a Parisian master workshop, manufactured for the Russian market, Paris, ca. 1790.
Matte and polished gilt bronze and green/grey speckled Sibirian porphyry. Matching rectangular pedestal with gilt rectangular plinth decorated with palmettes.
H candelabra 100.5 cm. H including pedestal 212.5 cm.
