RARE MODEL OF AN 'AUGUSTUS REX' ROSE-NECKED PARAKEET,

Meissen, ca. 1731, design attributed to Johann Gottlieb Kirchner.
The plumage is painted turquoise. The bottom marked AR for Augustus Rex in blue.
H 40.6 cm. Restored.
