TWO MODELS OF PARTRIDGES.

Meissen, ca. 1741-45/1750. Designed by Johann Joachim Kändler.
One model with underglaze blue sword mark and press number 57.
H 15 cm. Slightly chipped sheafs of wheat. Beak of the other bird, restored.

Provenance:
- Lady Baillie, Lowndes House, London (dining room), acquired by Maison Jansen, Paris, on 29 June 1937. (Partridge with sheaf of wheat)
