CHINOISERIE TANKARD WITH SILVER-GILT MOUNT,

Meissen, ca. 1725-1730. Painted by Johann Ehrenfried Stadler.
Silver-gilt mount, Germany, ca. 1900.
H 21.5 cm. Handle restored.

A comparable pitcher can be found in U. Pietsch, Frühes Meissener Porzellan. Sammlung Carabelli, 2000, page 144, No. 61.
