PAIR OF POTPOURRIS WITH BRONZE MOUNTS,

Louis XV, the bronzes with "c couronné" (a revenue stamp placed on all copper alloys between 1745 and 1749 ), probably an order placed by the "marchand-mercier" L. DUVAUX (Lazare Duvaux, 1703 Paris 1758), Paris ca. 1745/49.
Matte and polished gilt bronze and celadon enameled biscuit porcelain "dans le goût chinois". Old restorations on 1 lid.
H 29 cm.

Provenance:
- formerly in the Collection L. Burat, Paris.
- Auction Ader/Picard/Tajan Paris, 21 June 1989 (Lot No. 39 - with reference to an old Inventory No.).
- from a French collection.
