FIGURE OF A SAINT,
Baroque, Spain, 1st half of the 17th century.
Wood, hollowed and closed, and painted "al estofado". The saint is holding a book (later) in one hand. Possibly formerly a depiction of St. Barbara with palm branch and tower (missing). Cracks and losses.
