PAIR OF IMPORTANT CONSOLES "AI FOGLIAMI D'ACANTO",

so-called "tavolo rettangolare a cespo", Baroque, Rome ca. 1680/1700.
Pierced wood, opulently carved with acanthus leaves, scrolls and decorative frieze, with remains of old gilding. Striking "Fleur de Pêche" marble top. Losses and restoration, probably shortened in height.
174x57x86 cm.

Provenance:
- from a private collection, the Netherlands
