CABINET,

Renaissance, Augsburg ca. 1580.
Walnut, cherry, beech, verdigris and various fruitwoods, opulently inlaid with a landscape, a putto, musical instruments, blossoms, leaves and decorative frieze. The interior and bottom of the drawers in ash. Hinged front. Fitted interior with central double-doors, surrounded by 9 drawers in different sizes and 1 pair of doors. Bronze mounts and knobs. Iron locks, in part replaced. The veneer on the outside of the body, supplemented. On a later plinth, in the Spanish Baroque style.
