Patek Philippe, extremely rare Perpetual Calendar, 1951.
"Reference 1526" was the first wristwatch series with a perpetual calendar. This model represents a milestone in the development of watches with complications. Patek Philippe only built 210 of this watch type, the majority in yellow gold, and only very few in pink gold. This is a first generation model, which can be seen by the triple indication: moon phase, small second and date at 6h.
With an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives: Built in 1951, sold on 23 May 1953, with the described dial.
