RARE CRUCIFIXION GROUP,

Meissen, model by J.J. Kändler, 1737-1747.
Separate wooden cross with a porcelain Body of Christ and the inscription INRI (Jesus of Nazareth Rex Iudaeorum). Separate figures of Mary and John, with traces of an underglaze blue sword mark.
H 16 cm/16.5 cm/ 16.5 cm/ 19.5 cm (John/Mary/Mount Calvary/Body of Christ), H in total 43 cm. Mary's right arm and Mary Magdalene's right hand, missing. Traces of old restorations and chips. (4)
